Hoi An Lanterns by Jessica Fradono
The iconic lanterns of Hoi An, Vietnam come in all shapes sizes and colors. The shapes and colors of the lanterns all have different meanings. For instance, round ones symbolize harmony and balance; red is a symbol of happiness, gold symbolizes wealth.
About Jessica Fradono
Hello! I am Jessica Fradono (aka TRVLR. Designs). I am a photographer whose work is inspired by travels to distant lands. I believe in slow travel, meaning that I like to stay as long as possible to learn about the people, food, culture, religion, history and all the small details of any place I go. I have been on the road full time for over 3 years - this time exploring has taught me so much and been a great source of inspiration. I see the colors of the world in very vivid shades so you will see prominent hues as a common thread throughout my work. I am also wildly attracted to the Japanese philosophy of "Wabi Sabi" which accepts transience and imperfection and says that beauty is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete". I am honored to be able to share some of my favorite parts of the world with you as seen through my eyes. If you notice something that you like on any of my social sites, please ask and I will make it into a product for you!
